Raider girls golf team optimistic after opening match

One week after its opening match of the season rained out, Navarre’s girls golf team finally played, facing off against Pace and Gulf Breeze in a tri-match at Tiger Point Thursday.

On a warm and sunny afternoon, the Raiders produced a 202 as a team, led by the effort of Hailey Netro, who came through with a 48. Madison Fields, a move-in from Indiana, also shot under 50 as she checked in with a 49.

Surgery options expand at Santa Rosa County Animal Services

A brand-new surgical suite has been opened at Santa Rosa County Animal Services in Milton. The previous surgical suite was significantly smaller and only housed one surgical table, but in-house medical procedures have drastically increased since the center began conducting them in 2020.
