09/30 – 3rd Annual Challenge 22 Event Walk-Ride
Third Annual Challenge 22 Event-Walk-Ride hosted by American Legion Riders Chapter 382, will be held at Navarre Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is to raise money and awareness of the 22 veteran suicides happening everyday due to PTSD. Register online at bit.ly/46FjHnr. Registration fees for walking or riding is $22.00. To add a t-shirt with registration is $35.00. Proceeds benefit Project Vet Relief.
10/06 – Taste of Gulf Breeze
Taste of Gulf Breeze hosted by Gulf Breeze Area Chamber (800 Shoreline Drive) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This festival has local venders offering culinary delights while mingling with local businesses and organizations. Participants will taste appetizers, beverages, and desserts, and determine the winners of the Golden Spatula Awards. This event is 21 and up. General Admission is $15.00 or $20.00 at the door, but it is asked you purchase tickets in advance.
10/07 – Sea Turtle Extravaganza
Sea Turtle Extravaganza organized by Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event will be on October eighth as well. There will be games, crafts, a photo booth, costume characters, music and more. For more information visit navarrebeachseaturtles.org
10/10 – Movie Time Tuesdays
Movie Time Tuesdays hosted by the Navarre Library from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. All movies will begin at 4 p.m. and refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Navarre Library. This month’s movie will be “Hocus Pocus,” rated PG.
10/13 – 22nd Annual Navarre Beach Autorama
22nd Annual Navarre Beach Autorama hosted by Navarre High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will showcase more than 150 historical cars from all decades. There will be music, food, and vendor booths. Check-in is at 8 a.m. and judging starts at 11 a.m.
10/13 – Breeze-O-Ween
Breeze-O-Ween Market hosted by the City of Gulf Breeze from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join in on the fall fun with music, vendors, and food trucks for the whole family.
10/14 – Boo at the Zoo
Boo at the Zoo hosted by the Gulf Breeze Zoo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Join in on the wild, spooky fun with Halloween entertainment and kid-friendly fun around every corner. There will be a trick-or-treat trail complete with candy, toys, bounce houses, face painting, animals, and more!
10/20 – Fear Forest
Fear Forest hosted by Community of Christ Church in Navarre from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. New medical testing near a cemetery has locals concerned! Join in for a haunted trail, Nerf zombie course, and games for kids! Donations are asked for admission.
11/04 – Speed Up for a Cure 5K Run/Walk
Join us on Saturday, November 4, 2023, for the Speed Up a Cure 5K! Enjoy a three-mile run, walk, roll, or stroll through Gulf Breeze, FL. Bring with your friends, family, and furry friends to enjoy the fun in the sun. The 5K proceeds benefit the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) and their mission to End ALS. Event is in memory of Jan Cayson Speed, a local Gulf Breeze native who passed away last year from ALS. Register at als.net/speedupforacure

Last saturday of every month – Trash Bash with the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center
Located at the main Navarre Beach parking lot near Sand Crab Pavilion from 8 to 10 a.m. Help protect sea turtles and other imperiled species through a citizen science program that allows volunteers to take an active role in the war against marine debris. Volunteers collect trash from different areas along the 4.5 miles of Navarre Beach and record data that is forwarded to state and federal agencies. Meet in the main Navarre Beach Parking Lot near the Sand Crab Pavilion. A limited supplies of gloves, buckets and pickers are provided, or bring your own. Saturdays – Navarre Garden Club’s Green Thumb
The Green Thumb Nursery on Hwy 399 just west of Hwy 87 is open every Saturday from 10-2. The nursery offers a wide variety of trees, shrubs, annuals & perennials. You will also find houseplants, succulents, native plants, pollinator plants etc. Most plants are coming from members’ yards. Since they have been grown here, you know that they will thrive in your yard. The site also hosts the club’s craft sales shop. Various crafts and yard art, made by club members, are offered for sale. Visit display gardens and shop their nursery and crafts. Members are happy to offer information and advice to help you achieve the look you want in your garden. Saturdays – Navarre Genealogy Study Group
The Navarre Genealogy Study Group meets every Saturday at 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Zoom for discussions on all topics related to genealogy research: from analyzing records to using DNA to identify ancestors.
