5/07 – Highway 87 Outdoor Market

Highway 87 Outdoor Market at Pik-itz located at 1922 State Road 87, Navarre from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This bi-weekly outdoor market takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month. Farm-to-Table vendors are available along with arts and crafts and shopping inside Pik-Itz! Art & Antiques.

5/07 – Star Wars Day at The Twist Custom Ice Cream

Come have some fun at The Twist as they celebrate Star Wars Day, Saturday May 7th from noon to 8:30 p.m.

Come in your best Star Wars costume or attire. Enjoy specialty themed menu items, for one day only! Plus special discounts throughout the day.

Featured menu item for the day will be The Force: You’re choice between the light side (vanilla soft serve) or the dark side (chocolate soft serve), served with a lightsaber (white chocolate dipped pretzel stick). Served in your choice of any cup or cone.

5/14 – Annual Military Appreciation Picnic on Navarre Beach

The Navarre Chamber’s Military and Veteran Affairs Committee will be hosting the 4th Annual Military Appreciation Picnic on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Manta Ray Pavilion in the Navarre Beach Marine Park to honor all active duty and retired military families in the Navarre area. This event is also open to military families from bases in the surrounding area, as well as those visiting the Navarre Beach area.

This event will bring together hundreds of military members and supporters for a relaxing day on Navarre Beach to enjoy great food, live entertainment, family fun and LOTS of giveaways and door prizes for the whole family.

Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs, beach towels and sunscreen for a fun filled day on Navarre Beach.

LOCATION: 8705 Gulf Boulevard on Navarre Beach

Navarre Beach Marine Park – After crossing the Navarre Beach Bridge, make a LEFT at the Stop Sign.

This is a FREE Event for all Active Duty, Reserve, Retired, Veterans, and Dependents

5/14 – Inaugural Navarre Paddle Classic

The Inaugural Navarre Paddle Classic Sponsored by Navarre Beach Yoga Studio will be held May 14, 2022 at the Navarre Beach Marine Park on the Santa Rosa Sound benefitting the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

  • 3 Mile Technical Race  (Sponsored by Navarre Beach Aesthetics, Aloha i ka nalu& Stand Up Paddle The Emerald Coast)
  • 1 Mile fun race (Sponsored by SUP Girls Emerald Coast)
  • Kid’s race

All race registrations are eligible to sign up for a free SUP Yoga session sponsored by SUP Girls Emerald Coast (Capped at 40 participants & dependent on water conditions)

Food trucks will be on site (Des’ Tacos Bowls and Rolls and IMPAK Ice) along with several local vendors. 

We also have a ton of awesome prizes that will be raffled off after the races.  All raffle donation proceeds go to the NBSTCC.  

So grab your favorite paddle craft, friends, and family for a great day at the beach and know you are doing something to help the turtles!  

Not racing?  Races will be visible from shore, so come cheer on the paddlers!  

The event will proceed rain or shine!  However, we will not race during thunder storms. If there is inclement weather, race directors will err on the side of caution and may delay the start. If the race must be canceled for the safety of our paddlers, racers will still receive all swag included with their entry. Registration fees will not be refunded.

Last saturday of every month – Trash Bash with the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

Located at the main Navarre Beach parking lot near Sand Crab Pavilion from 8 to 10 a.m. Help protect sea turtles and other imperiled species through a citizen science program that allows volunteers to take an active role in the war against marine debris. Volunteers collect trash from different areas along the 4.5 miles of Navarre Beach and record data that is forwarded to state and federal agencies. Meet in the main Navarre Beach Parking Lot near the Sand Crab Pavilion. A limited supplies of gloves, buckets and pickers are provided, or bring your own. Saturdays – Navarre Garden Club’s Green Thumb

The Green Thumb Nursery on Hwy 399 just west of Hwy 87 is open every Saturday from 10-2. The nursery offers a wide variety of trees, shrubs, annuals & perennials. You will also find houseplants, succulents, native plants, pollinator plants etc. Most plants are coming from members’ yards. Since they have been grown here, you know that they will thrive in your yard. The site also hosts the club’s craft sales shop. Various crafts and yard art, made by club members, are offered for sale. Visit display gardens and shop their nursery and crafts. Members are happy to offer information and advice to help you achieve the look you want in your garden. Saturdays – Navarre Genealogy Study Group

The Navarre Genealogy Study Group meets every Saturday at 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Zoom for discussions on all topics related to genealogy research: from analyzing records to using DNA to identify ancestors.
