Doug Browne wakes up in the wee hours of the morning every day and drives 7 miles from his Midway house to Navarre Beach. He gets out of his truck with two Walmart plastic grocery bags in hand and begins his 4-mile daily trek.
The beach is the best place around to cloud watch. These are classic cumulous clouds and are usually associated with fair weather conditions.

If you happened to be on Navarre Beach on July 16, you may have noticed a group of small, tan lifeguards pulling a CPR dummy out of the water.
The dummy’s name is Brady, after football star Tom Brady, and the small lifeguards are the Navarre Beach Junior lifeguards, doing their final test after an intense two-week program where they learned everything from CPR to surfing to oceanography.
