West Florida Railroad Museum in Milton is among the list of applicants reviewed for tax capital funding project grants at Thursday’s Tourism Development Council meeting. The museum is the former Milton train depot, which was built more than 100 years ago and currently faces significant deterioration.

Fish and Wildlife Conservation is investigating two abandoned, derelict vessels in the Santa Rosa Sound. A preliminary investigation shows that neither vessel is leaking any oil or fuel.
A judge ruled Monday that Adams Sanitation, which started service in south Santa Rosa County Oct. 4, has been operating illegally and must stop that service.
