In a year full of chaos and change, an organized home can create a sense of calm. Waking up to an organized space and knowing where things are establishes a sense of serenity to start your day.
The team at Closets by Design Emerald Coast can design an attractive storage space for any area of your home that needs organizing. And the best part? It’s designed to fit your budget, too.

Did you know that birds in the United States have decreased 29% since 1970! Or that the mass of migrating birds in the spring has declined 13% between 2007 and 2017 with most along the East Coast?
To improve those numbers, “Birdscaping” plants should be chosen to provide food and shelter year-round, said Leonard Perry, horticulture Professor Emeritus with the University of Vermont. “Native plants should be a major component, as they provide a huge food source for birds, especially insects which have co-evolved with them,” Perry said. “Ninety-six percent of terrestrial bird species depend on insects – and lots of them.
Many landscapes now contain relatively few native plants, perhaps no more than 25%. A goal of gardeners should be to increase this percent, to perhaps as high as 75% native plants. Even a modest increase in the number of native plant species in a landscape can increase the number of bird species and overall numbers of birds.” A variety of landscape plants is extremely important when creating wildlife habitat.
Who knows what plants are included in the Navarre Park design? What percent are “birdscaping?”
If it is important to you to attract eco-tourists to Navarre Park or sit in the park yourself observing nature, please let the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners hear from you at BOCC@santarosa.fl.gov.
