Seminoles’ NCAA championship dream ends in shootout

Emily Madril saw her dream of a national championship in women’s soccer end Monday night at WakeMed Park in North Carolina.

Madril and the top-ranked Florida State Seminoles were beaten by Santa Clara in a penalty kick shootout in the College Cup final.

Edwards thankful for chance to compete at nationals

Bri Edwards soaked it all in on Sunday as she competed in a national championship meet at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
