ProHealth named Business of the Year by Chambers of Commerce

The Gulf Breeze Chamber of Commerce named ProHealth “2021 Business of the Year” during their annual awards gala held at the Hilton Hotel, Pensacola Beach, on Friday, Jan.21.

This was the second “Business of the Year” award ProHealth received for the year of 2021.

SRC Animal Services intakes large number of dogs, needs your help

Santa Rosa County Animal Services (SRCAS) continues to have an urgent need for the community to adopt or foster dogs as the shelter remains at critical capacity. The shelter is in the process of performing intake on more than 70 additional dogs from a special case involving a community member in Santa Rosa County who became overwhelmed.

Sunshine and tens of thousands of people filled Gulf Boulevard on Navarre Beach island for the 36th annual Navarre Beach Mardi Gras Parade Feb 19. There were 60 parade entries this year, from krewes to businesses to community groups.

On the strength of six first-place finishers in their respective weight classes, Navarre’s boys weightlifting team dominated the Northwest Florida Invitational Wednesday.

The Raiders scored 75 points, easily outdistancing the rest of the field by more 30 points.

Last Sunday, the Navarre Campus of Momentum Church relaunched weekly services in the Navarre High School cafeteria after being closed from March 2020 to December 2021 for COVID.
