Summer is among us, and our pets can get uncomfortable in this Florida heat. Fleas only make it worse. As the weather gets warmer, fleas can become a problem for pets and their parents. Fortunately, for dogs with a flea problem in Navarre and the surrounding area, there is help available! St. Francis Veterinary Center has been selected to participate in a national clinical study to evaluate a new flea control medication. Participating households will receive FREE flea medications, as well as FREE study related exams, for up to three dogs in their household for the 3-month study duration. If these households have cats, up to three cats will also receive FREE flea medication during the study.

After the column was at the printer, I second guessed myself – a lot. I thought to myself – that it wasn’t “nice.” But then, I thought, “Well, that was being nice.” It could have been less “nice.” A lot less.
