“Good evening, and welcome to Community Life Church and to PRC’s annual fundraising banquet,” Becky Pala, PRC Board Secretary and event host greeted those who gathered last month.
The Pregnancy Resource Center of Navarre (PRCN) held its annual fundraising banquet Oct. 20 with a unique twist; there was no banquet. This year’s fundraiser was conducted without a banquet as a virtual event out of concern for the spread of the coronavirus.

Nearly 300 people packed the parking lot of Palm Harbour Plaza Sunday afternoon in support of Elis Hines. The 22-year old was paralyzed nearly seven months ago in a skateboarding accident, leaving him in a wheelchair.
The Vine Wine Bar, Bistro & Shoppe hosted a Chili and Wings Cook-off Fundraiser Nov. 8 with all proceeds going toward buying Hines a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Mother, daughter graduate together

Some high school graduates move far away from their moms to go to college. They are excited to finally have independence and find their place in this world without mom watching their every move.
That was not the case for 22-year-old Navarre native Aubrey Hedlund. She went through the Pensacola State College registered nursing (RN) program alongside her mother, Holly Bartlett. Both of them will be graduating next month from the accelerated RN program.

Pursuant to Florida Statutes 197.3632 (3)(a), Santa Rosa County gives this notice that it intends to utilize the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem assessments. Such assessments may be made in any portion of Santa Rosa County and may be utilized for road paving or construction, road impact construction, bridge construction, bridge maintenance, storm water improvements, fire protection, sanitary sewer construction, potable water, canal maintenance, street lighting, fire hydrant installation, or any other purpose authorized by law. A public hearing to adopt a resolution authorizing the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem assessments will be held on December 10, 2020, at 9:30 a.m., in the Santa Rosa County Administrative Center, Commissioners Meeting Room, 6495 Caroline Street, Milton, Florida. If you are a person with a disability who needs any accommodation in order to participate in a public hearing you are entitled to the provision of certain assistance.
