A new food truck will soon be opening for business in Navarre. Let’s Eat is set to become the newest member of Food Truck Alley at Pik-itz, located at 1922 State Road 87 in Navarre.

After two homicides in Navarre in less than a week, Santa Rosa Sheriff Bob Johnson held a press conference Monday to share details of the two deadly shootings.
“Two [homicides] in four days puts a definite strain on our major crimes unit, our evidence unit and our crime scene units but they came out in stellar fashion and both these were concluded within three or four days,” Johnson said.
A television station in Dothan, Alabama, has reported that a person of interest in Sunday’s Navarre Beach homicide has been taken into custody. John Patrick Guillebeau, 60, of Panama City was taken into custody Wednesday, according to reporting from News 4 WTVY.
Sgt. Rich Aloy of the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a suspect was in custody for the death of 67-year-old Victor Stephen Trial. Trial was found dead just inside his fifth floor unit at Pearl Condominiums.
World Class Pageantry crowned Emerson Claire Walters, 16, as the prestigious Miss Navarre Florida 2022 on Nov, 11. She is the daughter of Natasha and Matt Walters from Jay.
Walters will be working with Chanda Ryan at the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce to help promote the area, according to the press release announcing her title.
