Less than a week after the first Santa Rosa County officials got the first call about COVID-19 vaccines being on the way, 5,000 have already been administered.
Another 2,000 individuals 65 and older are scheduled to be vaccinated next week and officials are still setting up new dates and sites the coming days and weeks.

Deployment of new reef modules got underway early Tuesday morning at three different sites off the shore of Navarre Beach.
A total of 47 were deployed during the daylong effort, including 20 at a location a little more than a mile south of the Navarre Beach Pier. The other two reef locations were west of the other one.
