When the water forms a heart on Navarre Beach, you know Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Today’s Photo of the Day was taken by Linda Johnson.

The Santa Rosa County website includes a copy of a card that individuals can print out and sign that identifies them as members of the Santa Rosa County Militia. The bearer, according to the card, is an “official member of the SRC Militia” and “thereby entitled to all rights and benefits accorded.”
In these days of COVID and political uncertainty, there’s not a lot that can be predicted. Even the weather can fluctuate from the most educated forecasts.
Sunsets are also a mystery, though less so if you understand the science.
A parking lot that has gotten heavy use as a cut-through since the forced closing of the Pensacola Bay Bridge received some quick repairs last week, with a long-term solution in the works.
