Three straight aces by the Raider volleyball senior helped Navarre close out a crucial third set against Fort Walton Beach and put the team on the cusp of a senior night victory.

In the mind of Warren, the 2012 Raiders weren’t merely one of the best teams in program history. They were the best.

Hailey Netro got into golf four years ago because of her sister. The sport has turned into one she has come to thrive in.

“I started out for fun. I used to play soccer,” Netro said. “Golf was kind of a nice break from that. The more I played, the more I enjoyed it.”

When Mackenzie England tipped the ball over the net to put Navarre ahead by a point in a tense and thrilling final set of a showdown with Pensacola Catholic last Thursday night, the Raider senior knew the team was right where it wanted to be.

“We had so much adrenaline after we got the lead. Our energy picked up even more and we took off from there,” England said.

Claire Sczesny started swimming in middle school. Though she’s taken a few breaks here and there from the sport, it’s been something she has put a lot of time and effort into over the years.

Her sister, Olivia, a former Navarre Raider swimmer, helped encourage her to get into the sport.
