Senior night a success for Raiders

Caleb Long needed a moment to catch his breath after putting in hard work to help Navarre’s boys soccer team notch a 3-0 win over Mosley last Thursday night.

Long played with added motivation and inspiration considering it was senior night for the Raiders, who won their third consecutive game and continue to thrive in the first month of 2021.

Water crisis topic of special meeting

The Coalition for Santa Rosa’s Water Future will conduct a social-distanced presentation addressing Santa Rosa’s current water crisis. It will be held this Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at 6 p.m., at 8418 East Bay Boulevard in Navarre. Parking is limited and overflow is across the street at ServePro.

Area churches respond to coronavirus surge

On Jan. 21, 2020, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) confirmed the first coronavirus case in the United States – a traveler recently returned from Wuhan, China.

One year later, the CDC reports some 21 million confirmed cases in the U.S. and over 350 thousand deaths.
