Late momentum shift leaves Navarre with its first loss of season

Momentum swung in favor of Navarre midway through the fourth quarter of Friday night’s showdown with Milton on the road, the sideline coming to life after touchdown by Kyle Chambers gave the Raiders their first lead.

That momentum soon shifted back to the Panthers. They wrestled it away from the Raiders on a clutch touchdown catch by four-star recruit Raymond Cottrell with under two minutes to go.

Raider Game Day: Navarre hits road for battle with Milton

After an unplanned bye week, Navarre’s football team is set to return to the field Friday night when it takes on county rival Milton on the road in a 7:30 p.m. game.

The Raiders (1-0) were off last week after Warren Easton out of New Orleans was forced to cancel its trip over to Navarre due to Hurricane Ida.
