Built in 2001, Holley Properties has anchored the corner across from the Holley by the Sea entrance for more than 20 years. Their presence in Navarre began in 1991.

Navarre’s Emma Simon continuing her soccer career at Division I level

Emma Simon had a chance to play soccer for her dad, Rob, during her high school career at Navarre, and that opportunity helped shape her into the player she is today.

“I’m glad my dad was my coach because he always pushed me to be the best I could be and never gave up on me,” Simon said. “I’m glad he was harder on me than everyone else because he kept me motivated.”

Cailyn Hamstra announced as Santa Rosa Rookie of the Year

The Santa Rosa Education Foundation (SREF) announced Cailyn Hamstra at Gulf Breeze High School as the 2022 Santa Rosa Rookie of the Year during their Rookie of the Year Reception Wednesday afternoon, May 4. She was selected from a field of 35 educators with three or less years of teaching experience who were honored at this event. The Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation presented Hamstra with a $500 award.

The Guardian ad Litem Program for Children held their annual event to remember the children they serve. The event took place on April 24 at Twin Hills Park in Crestview.

As a pastor, I am called on to counsel others with words of hope and encouragement in Christ after they receive such news. I now stood on the proving ground of those words.
