Water has been the hot topic this past week, with some Midway Water System customers finding out first that they needed to boil their water and, nearly four days later, that boiling wouldn’t fully decontaminate the water.

Updated: The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory along the entire coast overnight into Thursday. The highest surf is expected along the western Florida panhandle. High surf conditions are expected to persist through Friday afternoon before subsiding Friday night. A high risk of rip currents begins tonight and will persist through Friday night.
