Ashley Hall, Holley-Navarre Middle School’s ‘Teacher of the Year’ for 2021 has spent all 23 years of her teaching career at Holley-Navarre Middle School, but her enthusiasm for the job makes it seem like she just started teaching.

Since 1998, Hall has brought creativity and humor to her seventh-grade civics students and has not looked back.

Commissioner suggests changes to zoning board appointee process

During the Oct. 26 meeting, District 5 Commissioner Colten Wright expressed his idea that staff add the resume of any appointee that comes before the board.

Wright’s reasoning is to provide transparency for Santa Rosa citizens, giving them the opportunity to see the prospective appointee’s qualifications to represent them on a volunteer board.
