Man indicted for homicide of 14-year-old boy

Ginger Bowden Madden, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida, announced that a Santa Rosa County Grand Jury indicted Isaiah Jordan McCullers Tuesday on a charge of first degree murder.

This charge originates from the murder of fourteen-year-old Cody Walker on March 14, 2021. Cody Walker was found deceased approximately two weeks after he had gone missing.

The investigation and arrest were conducted by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. Isaiah McCullers is set for an arraignment on May 13.

Social media crackdown clears Senate

Florida to pause use of Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Gov. Ron DeSantis, who was recently vaccinated with the single-dose Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine, said Tuesday that Florida would halt the vaccine’s use following a recommendation from federal health authorities. DeSantis said he understood the need for caution because the vaccine was only approved for emergency use, but he added that he did not think Floridians need to worry.
