Fmr. JROTC instructor’s ‘relationship’ with student disclosed in arrest report

New details have emerged from the arrest of John William Kapolczynski Jr., a former NJROTC instructor and substitute teacher at Navarre High.

Kapolczynski, 46, of Navarre, was initially arrested on Nov. 4 for obscene communication, public order crimes, and a sex offense. On Nov. 11, Kapolczynski’s charges were changed to lewd and lascivious behavior. He is currently out on $25,000 bond, according to Santa Rosa County Jail View.

The Gulfarium’s C.A.R.E. Center successfully released two rehabilitated sea turtles on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Topsail Hill State Park, Florida.

Each of the turtles were rescued from Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach within the past year.

A rigorous schedule for the Navarre Raider girls soccer team is by design. The Raiders want to play great competition in the hope that it prepares them to be at their best for the postseason.

They were tested twice this past weekend, facing opposition out of the Jacksonville area at the Navarre Soccer Complex, and came away with a split.
