If you haven’t registered yet, you have until 6 p.m. tonight (Thursday, December 1) or, you should be at packet pick-up at the Holley Navarre Fire Station behind McDonald’s on Friday from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. or at 7 a.m. Saturday morning – the day of the run.

SRC Commission skips Calkins, names Wright chairman

In a break from tradition, the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners skipped the sitting vice chairman and named District 5 Commissioner Colten Wright chairman for the coming year.

Commissioner James Calkins, vice chairman for the board’s 2021-2022 term, presided over the first part of the commission’s organizational meeting Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Many of these conversations have led to disaffiliations with the United Methodist Church, which acts as the governing body of over 30,000 congregations.

She did it twice last Monday night on passes to teammates Cici Buffalino and Taylor Armstead, helping to spark Navarre to a 5-0 win over Fort Walton Beach at the Navarre Soccer Complex.
