Election season is over – for a minute – and the politicians, politicos, media and social media savants are busy weighing the results.
Locally – where people and their government most often interact – the 2022 election results could usher in dramatic change on both the Santa Rosa County Commission and the Milton City Council.
New details have emerged from the arrest of John William Kapolczynski Jr., a former NJROTC instructor and substitute teacher at Navarre High.
Kapolczynski, 46, of Navarre, was initially arrested on Nov. 4 for obscene communication, public order crimes, and a sex offense. On Nov. 11, Kapolczynski’s charges were changed to lewd and lascivious behavior. He is currently out on $25,000 bond, according to Santa Rosa County Jail View.

The Gulfarium’s C.A.R.E. Center successfully released two rehabilitated sea turtles on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Topsail Hill State Park, Florida.
Each of the turtles were rescued from Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach within the past year.
