UPDATE: East Bay Boulevard closure just west of Bergren Road in Navarre rescheduled due to weather

Due to anticipated weather this weekend (April 5 & 6), the East Bay Boulevard closure just west of Bergren Road in Navarre will be rescheduled. Weather permitting, the closure is expected to be moved to Saturday, April 12 starting at 6 a.m. to install a cross drain pipe with work concluding by 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 13.

A worship pastor at Navarre United Methodist Church is taking it easy after a recent health scare sidelined him.

Jamel Boast, who has been worship pastor at NUMC since Aug. 8, 2022, suffered a collapsed lung while rehearsing for a Sunday worship service.

The 2025 Clover Pick A Bowl Fill A Bowl raised nearly $69,000 for Manna Food Bank thanks to the generosity of several local sponsors, artists, restaurants/food vendors, donors and event attendees. Money raised from the event will provide the equivalent of 41,400 healthy meals for hungry neighbors in need in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Navarre Raider girls lacrosse team takes big step forward

Subtract the opening quarter of Navarre’s girls lacrosse game against rival Gulf Breeze and the Raiders played the powerhouse Dolphins pretty tough Wednesday night.

So while a 15-8 defeat at the hands of Gulf Breeze in Dolphin Stadium is technically a loss, it’s also a big step forward for Navarre in a season that has been historic for the program.

Raider flag football team secures win in return to the field
