Holley Navarre Water System to hold truck auction May 20

Holley Navarre Water System will auction three Ford F-150 trucks Tuesday, May 20.

The auction begins at 5 p.m. and will be followed by the monthly meeting of the Holley Navarre Water System Board of Directors at 6 p.m. Truck viewing begins at 7 a.m. at the HNWS warehouse, located across from the main office at 8574 Turkey Bluff Road.

Navarre Raiders leave it all on field in softball regional final

Navarre’s dream of a state final four trip ended on a warm Thursday evening in Pace, the Raiders losing 4-0 to the reigning state champion Patriots in the Region 1-6A championship game.

Tiger Point area man attacked by bear

A 45-year-old Tiger Point man was sent to the hospital after a bear attacked him Thursday morning, May 15.

The attack happened shortly before 2 a.m. in the backyard of the man’s home in the 1500 block of Joseph Circle. During the attack, he was bit in the leg. After deputies responded, the man was sent to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola with a non-life-threatening injury.

Several Raider track athletes cap season at state

It was a stellar year for the Navarre Raider track program, with a handful of athletes making it to the FHSAA 3A state meet earlier this month in Jacksonville.


Garren Lattig and the boys 1600 relay team came home with medals while Marisa Turner ran in the 1600 at state.
