Is it right to accuse someone of a crime without corroborating evidence? Are you disgusted at the Kavanaugh hearing, the way he was assumed guilty of a crime without supporting evidence? Our Constitution and Bill of Rights is what makes our nation different by bestowing the same rights to all the people. Innocent until proven guilty, the right of free speech, assembly and religion are just a few of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The radical left in cooperation with the media suppresses these basic rights and promote group think. If you like what you saw at the Kavanagh hearing, then vote Democrat because you will get a lot more of the same.

At this writing Jeff Flake is living up to his name, Flake. The dictionary gives several definitions fitting him to a “T.”

We want to preface this with a simple statement of goal. We want the Panhandle Butterfly House to succeed. They are an asset to our community.

Sunday, Nov. 11 is Veteran’s Day and the Holley Navarre Senior Center is offering their pancake breakfast half-off to all veterans on Saturday. The pancake breakfast is held from 7 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Holley Navarre Senior Center at 8476 Gordon Goodin Lane in Navarre – across from the Library. They are trying an experiment by adding hash browns.  If you like the hash browns, let them know and they will keep them on the menu.

Just as you can’t put spilled milk back into the carton, you can’t put chaos back in the box that was opened with college football’s new redshirt rule.

Start the weekend on Friday night at the Taste of Gulf Breeze for ages 21 and up. You can taste food and beverages from area restaurants for a very low cost. Please see the ad in this issue on page B9.

You may have noticed a new name in the paper for the past two issues – Eden Davenport. Navarre Press is excited to introduce you to the young lady behind the name. Eden is a new intern from Navarre High School who is now a budding young journalist. She took a journalism class and loved it – and now she wants to see how the process of putting a newspaper together really works.

Quentin Randolph made his first career start Saturday night for the University of West Florida football team.

That DiFi and desperate Democrats produced an 11th hour derailment attempt was no surprise!

With great joy and even tears our community heard the news Monday that Santa Rosa Animal Services would end the practice of breed bans on adoptions. Moving forward they will base decisions on a dog’s temperament instead of the breed.
