It’s a bad year for grants in Santa Rosa County, between the failure to apply for a road improvement grant, effectively costing former county administrator, Dan Schebler, his job and, more recently, a local fire district reversing its course on accepting FEMA money.

There are times when we are uncertain what will happen if a particular public policy is implemented.

A proposal in Congress about cuts in interchange fees on credit cards is not one of them.

I just wanted to spout off about the new apts. going in by Publix.

As venders at the flea market we have been notified to vacate the market by Nov. 10.
