While the anti-Christian element is alive and well, so is Jesus Christ!  Christians will be celebrating the Risen Savior at Easter, Praise God!

Based on evidence from probability studies, the belief that mentally ill persons are especially prone to perpetrating violence is a fallacy. The mentally ill are less likely to be perpetrators of violence than the victims of it. Only a small percentage of mentally ill persons are violent.

Some successes include registering more than 2.5 million new Christian voters – 81% of whom voted for President Trump.

After watching the beautiful opening ceremonies for the winter Olympics, I was annoyed by Vice President Mike Pence’s refusal to stand when the combined Korea team entered the stadium.

My life started in 1926 while Calvin Coolidge was President of the United States. In 1929 Wall Street crashed causing America to plunge into a severe economic crisis. Then came the beginning of the Great Depression.

Already 18 school shootings this year. Sad indeed! How many guns were found at schools; how many arrests were there?

Should immigration serve the host country and its citizens or should it serve foreign countries and their citizens? The United States is no longer a frontier with a need for people to fill the void. Should immigrants fill empty jobs or take jobs from citizens? Our government has allowed immigration to explode, changing the character of our country for the purpose of political power or greed.

It’s 3:00 am. I can’t sleep. During visitation preceding a funeral recently, a pastor asked if I was still preaching the Gospel. My response: “At every opportunity God gives me.”  Three days later God gave me a whammy!

President Trump’s great medical report was no surprise to me. God’s giving him supernatural energy to execute his goings and comings, an unreal schedule.

We are blessed with two excellent weekly newspapers in Santa Rosa County: Gulf Breeze News and Navarre Press. Each keeps the readers informed of local news. It turns out that Letters to the Editor (LTE) are the most widely read section of any newspaper after the front page. I can tell you how best to write a “letter to the editor” but I must tell you that my success of getting them published is not good. All LTE’s are published at the discretion of the paper’s editors.
