James Bodison totes a cart loaded with a cooler, fishing rods and the other necessary items, such as bait, a tackle box, weights and sinkers needed to make his day of fishing off the Navarre Beach pier a successful one.

Santa Rosa County’s animal shelter has issued an urgent plea for help from the community.  With a number of litters of dogs and cats being surrendered to the shelter all of the kennels are full.  There is no more room.  Their list of needs includes volunteers, adopters and food donations.
