Effort leading to success for Raider boys hoops teams

 It was a battle from start to finish but Navarre’s boys basketball team found a way to take out Tate for the second time this season.

The Raiders grinded out a 61-54 victory, notching their fifth win of the season, and they did it behind three players scoring in double digits, including 21 from Malik George.

Proposed gas station not well received by some

The property that currently houses the Navarre branch of ERA American Realty at 8006 Navarre Pkwy. is slated to become a gas station and convenience store if the owner can procure a variance for the underground storage of gas tanks.

Construction equipment continues to line the eastern perimeter of Navarre Park as progress is made with the first phase of the remodel.

“Navarre Park is being enhanced in multiple phases and we are only funded for Phase 1, which is currently under construction,” said Santa Rosa County Public Information Officer Brandi Bates.
