Navarre comes up short in rivalry match with Dolphins

Holley Navarre Fire District approves rate increase

The Fire Commission for Holley Navarre Fire District voted to approve a rate increase for residents’ fire assessments Monday, Aug. 28, during their monthly meeting.

The now approved rate structure for the upcoming fiscal year (FY 2023-24) is expected to bring in $3 million, a comparable number to last year’s actual assessment revenue ($3,092,209). FY 2023-24 runs from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024.

Pregnancy Resource Center of Navarre raises funds at benefit comedy event

Every year, Pregnancy Resource Center of Navarre (PRCN) puts on their annual benefit event to raise money for their mission – saving babies, one mother at a time. This year’s event was a Marital Bliss Comedy Night featuring pastor and comedian Phil Gungor from Green Bay, Wisconsin. The sanctuary at Community Life Church in Gulf Breeze was packed August 24.
