Raiders settle in and succeed against Wildcats

Thursday night, the Navarre Raider volleyball team huddled up to talk strategy.

Navarre’s swim team competed in a tri-meet with Milton and Fort Walton Beach last Wednesday afternoon at the Pullum YMCA.

Several Raiders finished in the top three, including Hayden Weber who was second in the 100 Breaststroke (1:08.51) and third in the 100 Butterfly (59.03).

Dry weather leads to brush fires

So far in the month of August, Navarre has only received 1.47 inches of rain according to the data. In July, we received 3.71 inches of rain. Those two months do not even equal the total amount of rain in June of 8.88 inches. The dry conditions coupled with wind has allowed brush fires to spark more easily.

Monday, Aug. 21, left Holley Navarre Fire District and their partners battling three brush fires scattered across Navarre, all taking place after noon.
