Santa Rosa Animal Services starts process of helping large case of unsocialized dogs

Santa Rosa County Animal Services (SRCAS) has stepped up to take on a large case in the community that involves over 50 medium-sized unsocialized dogs. Over the last week, SRCAS has been working with a homeowner in the community to trap as many dogs as possible to receive a health check, spay/neuter and updated shots.

A lot of people point to how important the rules are until those rules are no longer important because they aren’t convenient.

If the FHSAA is going to have a rule that a player ejected from a game must sit out at least the next two, then there shouldn’t be any doorway that can be opened to change it.

Severe storms possible, sand available at four locations within the county

Heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding, particularly of low lying and urban areas, is possible beginning today, Wed., May 25, through the evening of Thurs., May 26 along with a tornado threat through Thursday morning, according to the US National Weather Service in Mobile.

There is also a high risk of rip currents along Navarre Beach through Friday night. Santa Rosa County Emergency Management officials are encouraging residents to monitor local weather reports and have multiple ways to receive weather warnings, especially overnight.
