After its first 20-win season in nearly two decades, the Navarre Raider volleyball team looks to keep the standard high in 2025.


The Raiders take aim at it with a roster featuring several key returners as well as a handful of talented newcomers.

Quarterback Brayden Jackson was part of a Lighthouse Private Christian Academy team that won a state title for the first time in program history last season.


He said going into this year it’s important for the Stingrays to remember what helped them reach the height of their sport.

Mike Turk has roamed the sideline at Huntingdon College for more than 20 years as the head football coach, winning games and impacting lives at one of the nation’s more successful NCAA Division III programs.


Consistent success has been a big part of his story.

The Navarre Raiders know the doubters are exist. Three wins and seven losses kind of creates that mindset among those on the outside of the football program.


But on the inside, in the locker room, on the practice field, Navarre is driven.

Curtis Sanders primarily played on the defensive side of the ball a season ago but is poised to get reps at running back as well this fall for the Navarre Raider football team.


The rising senior welcomes the opportunity to impact the game in more than one way.
