Members of the Navarre Raider softball team dumping a cooler full of water over the head of Jacqueline Othmani at the end of a youth camp earlier this week.


While it was the players having fun, in a way, it could be viewed as a celebration of Othmani being named the new head coach of the Raider softball team.

Soon it will be so long June and hello July.


That’s when everything starts to ramp up a little more on the football field as the Navarre Raiders inch closer to the start of preseason camp and the 2024 campaign.

Jacob Walsh gained a lot of valuable experience a season ago playing alongside veteran talent on the Navarre Raiders’ offensive line.


It was players like Charlie Cottrell, Jaxson Spalla and Cam Pollard, three leaders up front who Walsh was able to learn from.

Ethan Newman remembers his first game day experience on a college football field. It was against Furman, the No.7 FCS team in the country at the time.

Jacob Crowder is headed into his senior season of football with the Navarre Raiders.


And he is taking each day to prepare for the season ahead.
