HNFD Chief: Station 44 will be staffed after funding located

For the past year, even before the building was completed, Holley-Navarre Fire District Chief Kevin Lewis had concerns about their financial ability to staff Station 44 in Holley.
The Chief’s tune changed from worried to optimistic Monday night, Oct. 27, during a briefing he gave to HNFD’s commissioners.

‘He’s a biggun’

Alligator hunting season in Florida began Aug. 15 at midnight. Within just a few hours, what will likely be one of the biggest gators of the season was caught on the Yellow River in Santa Rosa County.
