Former Navarre track coach Mimi Surratt last saw Darnell Deas Jr. in March. It was at the FSU Relays in Tallahassee. Deas was a running back at Navarre in 2017 and competed in track as well that year, but he had since moved to the Jacksonville area and attended Fleming Island the second half of the year.
