Special Ops hosts Emerald Warrior 17

Air Force Special Operations Command is hosting the annual Emerald Warrior exercise Feb. 27 – March 11. In its 10th iteration this year, the joint exercise provides pre-deployment readiness training for special operations, conventional and partner nation forces, and interagency elements in realistic combat scenarios.

Social Media Scavenger hunt teaches teens about dating violence

Shelter House and Project Respect kicked off Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month by hosting Quest 4 Respect, a social media scavenger hunt for teens. Dozens of young people dashed around Destin Commons Feb. 3 snapping pictures on Instagram. The pictures were based on clues that carried messages about healthy relationships and warning signs for unsafe relationships.
