Milton man charged for alleged rape, indecent exposure

A 60-year-old Milton man has been charged for multiple sexual-related crimes in Navarre. Paul Powell has been charged with sexual battery with weapon or force of victim as well as indecent exposure and obstructing justice by hindering with communication information, according to Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office documents.

He was arrested 10 days ago, but the information was not released by the Sheriff’s Office until Jan. 31.

Navarre Raider girls soccer team wins district tourney opener

Navarre’s girls soccer team took the first step toward a district championship with an 8-0 win over Crestview Wednesday night in a District 1-6A quarterfinal at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.

Seven different players scored for the Raiders in a mercy-rule win that ended with Natalie Busch punching in a goal in the 75th minute.
