Holley Navarre Water System pursues articles of incorporation change

“The bylaws of the corporation shall be made and may be altered or rescinded by a vote of the majority of the membership” – Article IX of Holley Navarre Water System’s Articles of Incorporation.

This section of the articles of incorporation have been a sticking point for the past several months for the HNWS board of directors. Earlier this summer, the board expressed interest in creating a committee to review and consider amending certain bylaws of the corporation. As it turned out, the board will likely have to amend the articles of incorporation before looking at changing bylaws.

Panhandle Prospects showcase set for Aug. 27

Panhandle Prospects is hosting its third Top 40 Showcase Aug. 27 at the Fricker Center in Pensacola.

The top 40 players from the area will be participating in front of college coaches and members of the media, including Navarre’s Darius Cunningham Jr. and Jonah Forrest.
