Bri Edwards is more than just an athlete. The Navarre alum and University of Florida gymnast also excels in the classroom.

Edwards earned a spot on the 2023-24 SEC Academic Honor Roll and is also the team’s scholar athlete of the year.

As Florida’s population expands, state wildlife officials have seen a more than 33 percent increase in calls for assistance related to wild animals during the past five years, according to a presentation that could go before the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission this week.

Each day, thousands of electrical components carry electricity across Santa Rosa County to power homes and businesses. Many of these components (power line wire, transformers, etc.) are supported by large wooden utility poles, many standing around 50 feet tall.

Navarre athletes put their effort on display at the FHSAA District 1-4A track meet April 27 at Chiles in Tallahassee.

No one from Navarre won a district title but Terence Marshall was a runner-up for Navarre in the 100, clocking in with a 10.93.

A former Navarre Raider, Jefferson was taken in the fourth round by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tyndall Air Force Base – The 44th Fighter Group, Air Force Reserve, conducted their first flying Unit Training Assembly at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, April 6, 2024, since returning to Tyndall. This training proved valuable for the pilots and maintainers by giving them hands-on experience with F-35A Lightning II’s and their first local sortie since departing Tyndall prior to Hurricane Michael.
