The Holley Navarre Water System (HNWS) sent out a public notice to its members April 30 detailing the failure of Fairpoint Regional Utility Services (FRUS) to collect a subset of drinking water samples from April 2023 to September 2023. Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge receives hundreds of donations from Holley Navarre School

Students at Holley Navarre Intermediate School went above and beyond this year to help solidify a tradition of giving started last year by Amie Teschel, a fourth-grade teacher. Every participating class of students competes in a donation item drive, and the class with the most items wins a special in-class visit from Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge (ECWR) and some of their ambassadors.
