Free healthcare clinic in Pensacola this weekend

In many parts of the United States, for millions of Americans, access to basic healthcare is a challenge at best and an impossibility at worst. Due to geographic, economic, or cultural barriers, much of the U.S. population is uninsured or underinsured.

Remote Area Medical (RAM) is stepping in to address this urgent issue by offering a free, comprehensive healthcare clinic at Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, located at 6655 Mobile Highway, for two days only this weekend, on Nov. 23 and 24. This clinic will provide dental, vision, and medical care to those who might otherwise go without these essential services.

The Herings, remembered

Tragedy struck the Navarre community Tuesday, Nov. 5, when it was discovered that Steven and Ann Hering died as victims of an apparent double murder-suicide at their home in the Holley by the Sea neighborhood. James (Jay) Hering, one of the couple’s sons, also died. He is suspected of killing his parents and then himself.
