Nadia Rivera wasn’t always a catcher. She didn’t really like the position when she was younger and played third instead.


But around the time she started playing travel softball, she moved behind the plate.

Kennedy Kerns is staying local for college soccer as the former Navarre standout will play at Pensacola State this fall.


She’s thankful for the chance to play the game at the next level after dealing with challenges during her high school career.
