Santa Rosa County Mosquito Control director talks mosquito reduction

Mosquito activity can be year-round in Florida, but is especially prevalent during the spring and summer months as temperatures rise and rainfall increases.

To curb the prevalence of these pests, Santa Rosa County has a Mosquito Control department. The department monitors mosquito activity in the county, works to reduce sources from which mosquitoes spawn and sprays pesticides in various parts of the county to address the insect.

Momentum Church’s Love Week brings community service to forefront
