The Tropicana Speech Contest at West Navarre Intermediate School went to the animals last week when 4th and 5th graders took to the podium to hone their public speaking skills.

Student writers and artists from throughout Northwest Florida were recently recognized for their creativity and imagination by Northwest Florida State College when their work was selected for inclusion in the 2013 Blackwater Review. The Blackwater Review is a college publication which encourages student writing, art and creative life by providing a showcase for meritorious work.
