Daniel Lee held on robbery charges

Daniel Ferry Lee of Cantonment has been transferred to the Santa Rosa County Jail and is being held without bond on charges stemming from a robbery at knife-point of the Underwood Food Store on Highway 87 South Tuesday, Nov. 10.  He is currently facing multiple felony charges including fleeing without disregard of safety to persons or property, assault on an officer, and robbery with a weapon.

Assisted-living community changes hands

The Blake of Gulf Breeze formally changed ownership on July 31, and with it came a new management company, Superior Residences Senior Living.  The assisted-living community’s new name is The Beacon.  Formerly owned and operated by Blake Management Group, the facility was sold to CNL Healthcare Properties based out of Orlando, Fla.
