Regional championship game ahead for Navarre Raider softball team

Navarre’s softball team moved to the doorstep of state on Tuesday night, beating Horizon 13-4 and advancing to the Region 1-6A championship game.

The Raiders (15-9) now play for a trip to the final four on Thursday on the road against reigning state champion Pace (22-3).

Navarre has a new boys basketball coach. And I really like the hire.

The Raiders named Todd Arasmith as their new coach last week and based on the reaction on social media, I’d say the school hit a home run on this one. It’s exactly what Navarre needed to do.
