Twenty years ago this week the Holley-Navarre Water System building burned including the financial records that were inside. There was an ensuing investigation by the Florida State Fire Marshal, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Internal Revenue Service. Two main suspects were named, but never charged because of the lack of concrete evidence. The statute of limitations has run out on this unsolved crime.

According to a research study done in January by the Pew Research Center on public approval ratings for news media and religious organizations, “Millennials’ rating of churches and other religious organizations has dipped by 18 percentage points. About 55 percent now say churches have a positive impact on the country compared with five years ago, when nearly three-quarters (73 percent) said this.” Over the course of five years (2010-2015), this 55percent represents an all-time low for Millennial approval ratings of religious organizations. In contrast to the other generations, which all showed increased positivity toward churches and religious organizations, the Millennial Generation was a stark contrast of decline.

I haven’t read anything about what EXACTLY is wrong with the Court House. I went for jury duty. I was hoping the temperature inside would be comfortable, it was. I wanted the seats to be comfortable, they were. And I wanted the bathrooms to work, they did. So what EXACTLY is wrong with the Court House?
