A new development is coming to the corner of Beechwood Drive and Highway 98 in the Tiger Point area. Two buildings are currently planned for the site, in addition to parking for those structures. One building will be built north of the other.
Preston Barnett excited about chance to play college baseball

Preston Barnett received a few offers to play college baseball. He ended up signing with John Melvin Christian College, a first-year program in Pace.
Not bad for a player who was cut as a freshman in high school at Navarre but went on to establish himself as a pretty solid high school pitcher.

Johns, 7, has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), a condition that causes seizures and developmental delays. He also has cortical visual impairment (CVI), meaning he is partially blind but can see high-contrast images.

Navarre Raider cross-country teams shine at Argo Invitational

Navarre’s girls cross-country team has been running well this season, and the Raiders reached a high point with a team victory at the Argo Invitational Saturday on the campus of the University of West Florida.
The Raiders edged county rival Gulf Breeze by nine points (81-90), with two runners placing in the top 10.

Tallahassee – Hurricane and storm-surge watches were in effect Tuesday for much of Florida’s Gulf Coast as a weather system is expected to rapidly grow into “a potentially very dangerous storm” and hit the state as a hurricane this week.
