Two Navarre residents killed in Bay County motorcycle accident

Two Navarre residents were killed on Oct. 13 when a motorcycle and a pick-up truck hit head-on on State Road 20 in Bay County.

According to the report from Florida Highway Patrol, a Ram 1500, driven by a 46-year-old man from Milton, crossed the center line while navigating a right curve. The front portion of the Ram collided with the front portion of the Harley Davidson, driven by a 50-year-old male from Navarre with a 52-year-old female passenger from Navarre also riding.

FHSAA changes start date for 1A-7A football playoffs

Change is coming to the football playoff schedule for the 1A-7A classifications.


Due to the impact Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton have had on schedules this fall in most of the state, the FHSAA has decided the playoffs for those classes will now begin Nov. 15 instead of Nov. 8.
